All The News That's Fit To Omit

The
heroic action of Army Spc. Darrell Green has been noted by ABC News.

But due to its agenda driven coverage of the war in Iraq, the New York Times didn't want you to know about the bravery of another US serviceman: Marine Cpl. Jeffrey B. Starr.

Fortunately, Cpl. Starr's uncle, Timothy Lickness, and Michelle Malkin have teamed up to tell Cpl. Starr's story: CPL. JEFFREY B. STARR: WHAT THE NYTIMES LEFT OUT.

(As I was writing this post, CNN's "International Correspondents" was airing a Nic Robertson report on the Palestine Hotel attack. Not a single mention of Spc Green. And "IC" anchor Fionnuala Sweeney interviewed correspondents John Simpson in Paris and Johnathan Freed in Baghdad about the attack. Still no mention of Spc. Green. Lots of talk about journos being targeted but nothing about the man who saved the hides of the journos there. CNN "IC" purports "to examine how the media are covering the big stories of the moment." Hah! )
